According to legends, The Holy Grail has special powers. It provides happiness, eternal youth and food in abundance. Well my friends, my Holy Grail definitely provides youth and happiness. I haven’t been mentioning a lot of skincare and there is a reason for that. I tend to change my skincare quite often, because I find that my skin gets used to products quite quickly. Skin is so much what you intake anyways and all the lotions and potions are just topical.
For all those reasons I’m always switching my cleaners and moisturizers depending on my skin needs. However one thing always remains a constant, and that is my Holy Grail by
This product has been in my routine for the past year people! I can’t even believe it myself. I have repurchased it about 4 or 5 times I have lost count, to be honest. I tell everybody about it, I have even bought it for friends before! So it’s time now that I tell the rest of the world. First I should mention that my skin is combination oily, hence why it’s prone to breakouts. Yes, at 30 years old I still have breakouts. Life is really not fair.
is a clear gel that absorbs quickly then works all night to fight breakouts. The active ingredient is salicylic acid which helps keep overactive oils in check. Not to mention it has tea tree, orange and lavender which all aid in calming and soothing the skin. The cooling cucumber and liquorice are also known to help reduce redness.
I tend to use The overnight treatment right after cleansing and toning every day, if my breakouts are bad (usually around the time Aunt Flow is in town ). If my breakouts are at bay and contained then I only use it few times a week to keep the skin clear. Sometimes I also use another moisturizer on top, but make sure you wait few minutes for product to fully absorb before applying another product.
Also I know this is treatment targeted towards teens, but I feel like the ingredients are much better then what is in some of the adult acne treatments. Keep in mind that my skin is not covered in acne, I just have a few breakouts that can be easily contained with products like these. If you have severe acne this product may not be for you.
Dermologica also has entire range in the Clear Start line and there is something for everyone. For me the is the star! I could not live without this product and I highly recommend it .
