I have decided to start a little mini series called First Impression Fridays on the blog. Im going to try a product for the first time and let you know what I think, simple as that.
On this occasion I’m going to try the new foundation from Make Up Forever. First of all let me just say that I was not a huge fan of the old formula. It never really worked for me and I believe I returned it, or it made it into my hoarding pile of foundations I never use.
The new Make UP Forever Ultra Hd foundation is soooooo much better. Right of the bat it has more coverage, yet it does not look or feel caky. As you can see in the picture (no filter) it still shows my skin through where I have freckles, which is a exactly what I want. The lasting power is a medium I would say it lasted about 6 hours on me, however I did get shinny on my t-zone, which is pretty normal for me. It wore beautifully and it didn’t sink into my pores or fine lines. As you can see in the photo it matches my skin perfectly and I have shade 120/Y245.
The best part about this foundation that it has skin care ingredients like hyaluronic acid that provides hydration and keeps your skin healthy while still acting as make up. Also, may I add it photographs extremely well, so get your selfie stick ready you are going to want to use it while wearing this foundation.
